Faith focused
For the hard + healing + hopeful days

Welcome to Hope Abounds Collective! This is a space dear to my heart. Cultivated from my healing journey from over 13 years ago, the goal is to share encouragement, resources, and hope with others.
Explore the Hope Abounds Compass Course—a faith-filled guide created from my personal journey of hearing the words no one wants to hear: "Your cancer is back."
In this course with four brief sections, I share challenges I faced, the choices I made regarding treatment, nutrition, and wellness support, and the resources that helped me navigate an uncertain season with hope.
You'll gain access to the Hope Abounds Compass workbook, practical resource lists, personal reflections, and the exact books, websites, faith-based tools, and wellness resources that encouraged me along the way.
Words that shaped my second healing journey:
”Your cancer is back. I want you to get a permanent colostomy, start chemo, and get a left kidney stent.” Local oncologist, October 1, 2012. I refused to make any decision that day.
This is when I decided I would do things differently. I began a specific juicing and raw foods protocol immediately while deciding, praying, and researching what I would, and would not, allow my body to go through again for about three months. We had done a colostomy/ileostomy/takedown, chemo, and radiation once already. Do it again? Permanent colostomy? "Oh God. Help." And He did.
”Well carrots are good for horses (snickering), but it will not cure your cancer.” Surgeon consult in New York City, November 2012. Game on. I continued sipping that carrot juice. I ended up never needing to see her again.
“I’m ok with all you are telling me that you plan to do naturally during this second round of treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering during January 2013. We don’t know everything there is to know about cancer.” Oncologist in New York City, December 2012. I accepted one month of more targeted radiation, and a chemo pill, with tears, and armed with knowledge, and because of that knowledge, proactive hope.
“Your mass looks like it was operated on by a surgeon. We had to review it a few times. It has shrunk by 90 percent.” Radiologist update from May 2013. They offered to remove the remaining 10 percent via surgery. The cost? Permanent nerve damage and probably a permanent colostomy. "I'll continue what I'm doing - I do not want surgery. Thanks."
”Your body looks like any other person. The cancer is not there.” Radiology team phone call in August 2013 after PET scan.
No permanent colostomy.
No surgery to remove the remaining 10 percent mass in May 2013. And my body in one piece.
I kept sipping that carrot juice another 18 months…. along with many other wellness supports.
The only thing greater than fear? Hope.
When you dive in to your Compass Course, you will also be invited into a private community where women can find connection, encouragement, and support from others who understand difficult and healing days.
Whether you are facing a health challenge yourself or walking alongside someone who is, this course is designed to provide hope, guidance, and reassurance that you do not have to navigate the journey alone.

Medicine helped in crisis twice. Nutrition is what gave me hope for healing the second time.
2017: Essential oils became a beautiful addition to my wellness toolkit.
2024: Patented peptide support patches joined my wellness toolkit and have been a phenomenal, life-changing addition.
